hello, i'm maria!
I was born in a coastal town in portugal, in 2002. I’ve always had a camera in hand and book ready to be written.
I studied cinema in university and realised I had a soft spot for animation.
I love working with my hands. Crafts are one of my favourite things to pass the time and clear my mind, especially sewing. I like videogames so much, I made one myself!
My work is deeply textured and crafted across several mediums, infused with nostalgia, medieval mystique, esoteric symbolism, and a distinctly gothic mood.
I sew,
write and bookbind,
and love cats (especially mine).
